Description

PTFE fabric, also called Teflon fabric or PTFE fiberglass fabric, is made by inpregnating the fiberglass fabric roll with PTFE resin, and heat the fabric under high temperature for full absorption. By the way, PTFE fiberglass fabric is also the base material of PTFE adhesive tapes.

When dividing by the sorts, PTFE glass fabric includes serveral types, such as normal grade PTFE fabric, premiun grade PTFE fabric, PTFE tear resistant fabric, PTFE porous fabric, PTFE anti-static fabric, PTFE fabric one side coated etc.

Features

1. High-temperature resistance(-100℉ to +550℉).

2. Non-sticky and easy to clean.

3. Food grade and nontoxic.

4. Heat resistance and fireproof.

5. Resistant to chemical corrosion, strong acid and alkali.

6. Good dimensional stability, high strength, and has good mechanical properties.

7. Low friction coefficient (0.05-0.1), the best choice for oil-free self-lubrication.

8. Light transmittance up to 6%~13 %.

9. High insulation property (the value of dielectric constant is only 2.6, and the value of tangent is less than 0.0025).

1. Packaging machines.

2. Bag making machines.

3. Heat print machines.

4. Somewhere else where the heat resistance and non-stick are needed.

PTFE Fabric I: Normal Grade PTFE Fabric

Normal grade Teflon fabric is the most frequently seen type among all the types we have ever sold, it is widely used in the packaging and food industry. We have achieved relevant FDA test report, which proves the fabric could be in direct contact with food without any risk.

Normal grade PTFE glass fabricare also made for the 2-ply belt, BBQ grill mat, gas range protectors, toaster bags due to the its excellent resistance, release property and high temperature resistance. 

Compared with the premium grade PTFE glass fabric and tear resistant PTFE glass fabric, normal grade one is also cost-effective, sometimes consumers prefer to choose the products with best price which could also satisfy the quality, the normal grade would be the first choice.

PTFE Fabric II: Tear Resistant PTFE Fabric

Tear Resistant PTFE Fabric

Tear Resistant PTFE fiberglass fabirc is not the same as premium grade PTFE fabric, for the latter, we use more PTFE dispersion or resin, ensuring the higher thickness and tensile strength. For the former, we select unique fiberglass fabric, and process the base fabric with unique technique. The judging standard of tear resistant PTFE fabric is that we cut the fabric with scissors, and then it is difficult to tear the cut with hand. In all. the tear resistant PTFE fabric is much higher than the premium grade PTFE fabric and normal grade PTFE fabric in both price and quality.
